About Kathy Wooler Speech Pathology
Kathy Wooler Speech Pathology is a private speech pathology practice, serving the Rockhampton and Central Queensland community for over 35 years.
The practice is locally run and operated, with a proud history of helping local families. Our team truly cares about our patients, and we’ve had the unique privilege of working with multiple generations of clients.
Why would you or your child need to see a speech pathologist?
Speech pathologists are specialists in diagnosing and treating communication disorders. This could be speaking or listening difficulties, understanding language, social skills, stuttering, reading or writing.
Speech pathologists (although we’re also called speech therapists, an older term for what we do, or even ‘speechies’) are an important part of allied health and early intervention, particularly for children with diagnosed disorders.
All speech pathologists should be university-educated, and you often don’t need a referral to see us.

Our Team
The Kathy Wooler Speech Pathology team includes three highly experienced therapists.
We cover early childhood (4 years and under), prep, lower and mid primary aged children with stuttering or speaking difficulties, as well as general voice therapy and literacy development.
